Il progetto prevede l’esplorazione e la valorizzazione dell’eredità naturale, storica, artistica e letteraria del territorio nel quale operano le scuole partner e la creazione di una guida turistica sia on line che cartacea. La lingua inglese, che è la lingua di comunicazione, e gli strumenti della tecnologia informatica consentiranno a studenti e insegnanti di avvicinarsi alla realtà dei partner e di scoprire le affinità tra le varie culture, ma soprattutto le peculiarità che caratterizzano ogni paese.
Gli studenti, attori principali del progetto, parteciperanno a delle visite guidate a luoghi e monumenti di rilevanza turistica nel proprio territorio, scatteranno foto e acquisiranno dati per l’elaborazione di relazioni corredate di foto, che illustreranno quello che hanno visto e scoperto durante le visite.
Sono previste anche due visite transnazionali per conoscere i paesi delle scuole partner e per discutere e programmare le attività del progetto e gli studenti saranno ospitati dalle famiglie dei partner. Nel corso dell’anno saranno effettuate una visita transnazionale ad Avila in Spagna e una visita transnazionale a Le Mesnil Esnard, in Francia. Le scuole Spagnole, Rumene e Francesi saranno ricevute dall’ITC de Viti de Marco dal 6 maggio al dodici maggio 2007.

The aim of the project is the exploration and the appreciation of the natural, historical, artistic and literary heritage of the partners’ provinces and to promote them with tourist guides. English language as a common language and the ICT tools will allow students and teachers to get closer to the reality of the partners. They will find out the similarity among the various cultures, but above all the peculiarities which characterize each country and it will enhance the tolerance for the diversity.
The students, who are the main characters in the project, will visit monuments and tourist places in the area where they live. They will take photos and get information and then they will write reports with pictures about what they have seen and learnt.
Students and teachers will take part in two transnational visits. Students will be given hospitality by the foreign students’ families. They will know the partners’ countries and will be able to plan the future activities and objectives to attain in the project. During the first year there will be a visit to Avila (Spain) and a visit to Le Mesnil Esnard (France). From the 6th May to The 12th May 2007the French school, the Romanian school and the French school will come to the ITC de Viti de Marco to attend a project meeting.
